Join Miami's Inspiring, Empowering Community of Women at the 2016 Women's Event

The Women’s Event Luncheon with Special Lion of Judah Breakfast

Women’s Philanthropy of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation will host an exceptional program, recognizing Jewish women who, through their commitment of time and support of the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign, are helping to care for those in need, fund vital programs and strengthen Jewish life in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries around the world.

This year’s Women’s Event luncheon, beginning at 11:30 a.m., will feature the beauty and the bravery of Linor Abargil, Israel's first and only Miss World. Click here to read more about Linor.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., Federation will host a special morning program for those women who participate in the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign at the Lion of Judah level.

This year, Michele Baena and Terri Krasnoff are Co-Chairs of The Women’s Event and Rosi Behar is Chair of the Lion of Judah program.

Couvert for The Women’s Event is $100 per person (not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution). A $365 suggested minimum gift per attendee to the 2016 Federation/UJA Campaign is requested. A $5,000 minimum gift to the Annual Campaign is requested per attendee to the Lion of Judah Breakfast. Valet and self-parking will be available.

Women’s Philanthropy of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation understands and promotes the opportunity for women to express themselves philanthropically and live their passion. It encourages women to perpetuate Jewish ideals and values and to act as guardians of the Jewish future by accepting the responsibility of tikkun olam and by maintaining the tradition of tzedakah. The Women’s Campaign of the Federation represents almost one third of the Annual Campaign in terms of dollars raised.
